Lee Noble
b. 1983, Nashville, TN
Lee Noble is an artist and musician who works in painting, sound, video, and installation. Influenced by film history, punk culture, camp, and science fiction, his recent collaged paintings explore the psychology of American fear.
Currently based in Minneapolis, Noble received his MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He attended the Mountain School of Arts in Los Angeles in 2017 and was a guest composer at EMS Stockholm in 2019. He has performed at venues and festivals including Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, Issue Project Room in Brooklyn, Sonihouse in Japan, and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. He is the co-founder of Nightclub Gallery in St. Paul, Minnesota with Emma Beatrez.
