Join us for an artist talk and open studio with Chicago-based artist Dee Clements, in Minneapolis for a residency with The Cloud House. Clements works in sculptural basketry, ceramics, and painting, with interests in ethnography, feminism, and craft. During her residency, she is focused on new sculptural paintings that explore decorative arts, nature, and the human impact on the planet.
Dee Clements work has been included in recent exhibitions at Museum of Craft and Design (San Francisco), Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills, MI), Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Mindy Solomon Gallery (Miami), Nina Johnson Gallery (Miami), R + CO (New York) and Kasmin (New York).
